Low ropes

Hi, I'm Clíona. Here in Duilleog Úr Forest School we'd like to invite children to come out and join us having fun and adventures in the woods. We make sure that children get to take part in exciting and absorbing activities that foster their creativity and nurture their natural curiosity.
About
What is Forest School?
Forest School is all about getting children outdoors to experience nature, to explore and be adventurous - after all that's what being a child is all about! Girls and boys learn to be themselves in this supported environment where they learn:
- cooperative skills

- movement
- balance
- investigation
- observation
- respect
- hand-eye coordination
- use of tools
- design and making
- listening skills
- selfconfidence
- resilience
- to be creative...
and all outdoors.
What if it's raining?
We wrap up well and wear waterproof trousers, raincoat and wellies. This is Ireland!
What if it's cold?
We wrap up well and wear waterproof trousers, raincoat and wellies. We will try to provide a warm drink during the sessions.
What if it's windy?
Normally wind is fine, but if it's gale force we'll postpone.

2018
Due to a considerable rise in the cost of insurance again this year, Duilleog Úr is regrettably unable to restart the forest school this season.
Please bear with me while I try to find an alternative option that will make the forest school affordable again.
All course payments will be required in advance of the first day.
